MENAAR is an e-magazine that aims to provide valuable information on developments in the political economy of the MENA region.

Focusing on the themes of political and economic change, MENAAR covers current affairs as well as researching the historical depths of issues facing the region today.

By facilitating the dissemination of ideas and information we seek to foster initiative and innovation in political and economic thinking amongst academics, professionals and other parties interested in the MENA region. We harbour this aspiration in order to provide a platform from which topical debate can be encouraged and solutions to obstacles facing the region developed.

MENAAR welcomes submissions and correspondence from an open source of contributors in an effort to promote debate, freedom of thought and expression, and in order to utilize a broad scope of intellectual resources often overlooked.

MENAAR will be launching an Arabic language version of our bimonthly journal shortly and welcomes submissions in Arabic for translation into English as well as posting on the Arabic language site. Papers in English will also be translated for the Arabic site which can be accessed by clicking the link at the top of the homepage.
